The IBM 9848 Model 12F is the IBM FlashSystem V9000 LFF SAS Expansion Enclosure with a three-year warranty. It expands total capacity and delivers a tiered data solution. FlashSystem V9000 LFF Expansion Enclosure Model 12F supports twelve 3.5-inch TB NL-SAS drives. Each enclosure provides 120TB of additional usable capacity, with the ability to attach up to 20U of SAS expansion enclosures to each pair of V9000 AC3 control enclosures.

The IBM 9848 Model AE2 is the IBM FlashSystem V9000 with a three- year warranty and has up to sixteen ports of 8 Gbps or eight ports of 16 Gbps Fibre Channel interface support for superior SAN throughput and is configurable from 2.4 TB to 57 TB of usable capacity for increased flexibility.
